A leader is made, not born, as many believe. A true leader not necessarily the one at the helm of things he is one whose points others would want to follow. Each one of us can be a leader just that we have to work towards it.
So who is true leader? What is his proper significance? A true leader is one who would be capable to guide others either by directing a specific procedure or by doing something himself. In today’s competitive world, development of one’s standing in the work place depends not on the number of years put in as in the good old days, but on actual results, on performance.
If you are capable of outstanding the work, your importance in an association automatically goes up, and there would be many who would want to imitate you. This quality and attribute makes you a leader in the true sense of the word.
You might ask yourself that can I aspire to be a leader! Yes, definitely. Put in the exact kind of effort in the right direction and a leader is what you shall be. Each one of us is a unique individual so our ways of accomplishing the same thing might be different. No one needs a formal title to be a real leader, for leadership is something that needs to be developed on a personal level if you desire to succeed in life.
